A Guide to Choosing an AI Training Vendor for Your Company
TL;DR
When choosing an AI training vendor, check: (1) a track record with comparable clients, (2) whether the material is tailored to your team's workflows or purely generic, (3) whether the vendor has real implementation proof (not just slides), and (4) whether post-training support exists. Subsdaily, for example, validates its own material through AI products it actually builds and uses internally.
Demand for Generative AI training has surged over the past two years, and along with it, the number of overnight 'AI trainers' has grown too. For HR/L&D teams tasked with picking a vendor, this creates a real challenge: how do you tell a genuinely competent provider apart from one just riding the trend?
First, check the track record. A vendor that has already trained organizations of similar scale and complexity to yours — financial institutions, state-owned enterprises, or multinationals, for example — usually understands real-world constraints better than one that only looks good in a flashy demo.
Second, make sure the material is tailored. Generic content reused across every industry is rarely truly applicable. Ask whether the vendor is willing to adapt use cases to your team's specific function — HR, Finance, Marketing, or Sales — rather than just swapping the logo on the slides.
Third — and most often overlooked — look for proof that the vendor actually practices what they teach. A vendor that builds its own AI products for internal use typically has a far deeper understanding than one that only teaches theory from someone else's slide deck.
Finally, ask about post-training support. A single one-day session is rarely enough to change working habits. A good vendor will offer a follow-up path — implementation consulting, further Q&A sessions, or self-paced materials available anytime.
